Cottage Kit is an independent online shop for home, kitchen, and cottage goods. It is owned and operated by Austin Murn as a sole proprietorship based in Greenport, New York.
Who we are
Cottage Kit is a registered New York State sales tax vendor and collects New York sales tax on orders shipped within the state. Our registered business address is 408 South St, Greenport, NY 11944, United States. We are a small, owner-run business, not a marketplace or a reseller network.
How we source and ship
We do not operate our own warehouse. Our products are stocked and shipped by vetted third-party supplier warehouses, most of which are located overseas. This keeps our prices low, and it is the reason delivery takes longer than domestic retail.
Most orders require 2 to 5 business days for processing and 7 to 20 business days in transit, for an expected total of roughly 9 to 25 business days from order confirmation. We do not offer expedited shipping. Every order is issued a tracking number. Orders containing several items may arrive in more than one package.
